Meet the girls from...
Say hello to
Megan Thomas & Trilety Wade
How many years have you been in business?
We formed our company, under an LLC, three years ago and
sold through the Nebraska Food Co-operative for
almost two years before deciding to design/remodel/move
into a brick and mortar shop here on Main Street.
We've been open to the public for three weeks!
What do you sell?
We sell muffins, cookies, sweet rolls, and cakes.
We offer both classic (made with local butter and local eggs)
and vegan (made without animal products such as
butter, eggs, milk) items.
What is your favorite activity outside of
your shop or business?
Outside of the bakery, Megan loves to paint, spend time
with friends/family, and have fun with creative projects.
Trilety loves to write poetry, spend time with friends/family,
and find new places and projects that spark her curiosity.
What are three words that describe you?
Our friends consistently describe both of us as
Creative or Fun or Honest,
so we'll go with what our friends say.
What are three words that describe your product?
Honest. Unique. Delightful.
If you couldn’t be a shop owner what would you be?
Megan would live on an animal sanctuary!
Trilety is still thinking about what she would be.
Do you have a funny tale to tell
about your business?
Megan takes photographs of eggs or other
ingredients that end up looking like faces and
then posts them to facebook, because of this we are
considering making some bakery butter sculptures!
Next time you're in
